Depot Outlet ~ More Than Just Another Thrift Store!

The Depot Outlet in Decorah, Iowa was opened 52 years ago by several visionaries with a great idea!  Our name was born from our beginnings when we opened in the Milwaukee and St. Paul Railway Combination Depot located on Water Street.

Customers are waiting at our doors each morning for us to open.  Our inventory is always changing and items sell as quickly as they are stocked on the store floor.  Treasure hunters unite in shopping as often as possible because it is never known what might be available!

We offer a wide selection of clothing, books, home goods and more at ridiculously affordable prices.  Our inventory is constantly changing, so be sure to stop by often to see what's new. Our products are all gently used and carefully inspected to ensure quality.

Book shopping at thrift stores doesn't get any better than the Depot Outlet selection!  Fiction, nonfiction, romance, top sellers, gardening, cook books and more!  Paperback just $0.25 and Hard Cover only $0.50!  Also a large selection of magazines at just $0.10 each!

The Depot Outlet offers pick up services in Winneshiek County.  If you have a large amount of donations, an estate to downsize, or a large piece of furniture you cannot transport the Depot will come pick it up for you.  Please contact us for details and to schedule an appointment.
