Thank You So Much For Your Wonderful Donations!

Your donations of used items help support Winneshiek county charities and provide affordable goods to those in need.  Declutter and give back to the community.  Join us in reducing textile waste, contributing to a sustainable future and support local.  We greatly appreciate your clean, useable, unbroken and gently used donations!

All donations are accepted around the back of the Depot Outlet store at 510 Montgomery Street, Decorah, IA.  

Please Donate Mon-Fri 9:00-5:00 and Sat 9:00-3:00.  We will greet you to accept your donations inside.  Please read through our Do's and Don'ts of Donating prior to dropping off your items in order to better support the Depot Outlet and Winneshiek County.

We gladly accept almost all clothing.  New or gently worn clothes and shoes in great condition are sold in our thrift store for unbeatably low prices.  Clothes with stains, rips and tears, broken zippers and no longer wearable are baled by the Depot Outlet.  The textile bales are then shipped to reuse and recycling centers worldwide.

We accept gently used, clean and unbroken household goods, books, furniture and more. Learn more at the Do's & Don'ts of Donating.

The Depot will pick up larger items, furniture or entire estates located within Winneshiek County on paved roads.  We are not able to pick up from households on gravel roads.  Smaller household items and clothes must be boxed or bagged and ready for transport.  All items to be picked up must be located on a first floor level or in a garage.  The load must be larger than can fit in a standard size sedan.  Please refer to the Do's and Don'ts of Donating for complete information on what we can accept as a donation.  We reserve the right to refuse and will not pick up items that we can not accept.  Call or email us for more information on our local pick up services.

The Depot Outlet would not be where it is today without all of your generous donations!  We are so grateful to everyone who helps to support us in our mission to provide wonderful clothing and home goods at low prices and give back to our own community nonprofit organizations!  None of this is possible without you and we are so grateful for your generosity!
